Tuesday MotoGP News Round Up: Alex Marquez To Return At Brno, Joan Mir To Test Honda 850, MSMA Press Conference

MotoGP is headed to Brno (and I am in the very lucky position to be headed to the Öhlins factory in Sweden on Wednesday), so another MotoGP double header beckons. Before then, a couple of news items that are worth noting.

Alex Marquez back

On Tuesday, the Gresini Racing team announced that Alex Marquez had been given the all clear by his doctors to go ahead and attempt to race at the Brno round of MotoGP. In a press release and social media post, the team wrote:

After the latest medical checks in Spain, Alex Márquez will fly to Czech Republic this weekend with the aim of being declared FIT. Updates coming this Thursday directly from Brno Circuit.
