2026 Barcelona MotoGP FP1 Result: Alex Marquez Shows His Hand Alex Marquez has topped the first session of free practice for the MotoGP class at Barcelona. The Gresini Ducati rider put in a fast lap at the end of the session to be the only rider to get into the 1'39s after fitting new tires for his final run. Jorge Martin was second fastest, but the Factory Aprilia Racing rider had a massive crash halfway through the session and did not lap after that, only going out again to do his practice starts. Martin was checked over by Dr Charte and given the all clear.
