Gishiki-P is a Vocaloid producer, which essentially means that he composes, writes, and produces music using Yamaha’s Vocaloid singing synthesis software. In other words, the vocals are created by inputting lyrics into the software. Some might balk at that use of technology, perceiving it to be cheating, and “not real music.” But that risks “old man yells at cloud” accusations—we really do need to embrace new technologies so as not to get left behind.
