"textContent": "So for a while I have been working on making a browser game based around competing companies trying to outdo each other and operate the most in the most places. Still a way from being finished sadly.\n\nHowever, because units travel from port to port (or station to station) in a simple line, the boats can go across land when their (often based on real) routes skip over land and miss out ports, which they often do. In this image the pink circle (pink being my company color) is where the boat currently is, and the big ship images are the Ports of call it is jumping between.\n\nSo basically I currently have an issue of this happening quite a bit. Which is comical, but I might have to throw real routes out the window for cruises, and just make the follow the coastline going port to port closer than they usually do, and that'll stop them traversing land, or i can ignore it, that is definitely the easier option...\nAn easier option I shall try to avoid\n\n\nStatistics: Posted by Redirect Left — 23 May 2026 22:42\n\n* * *",
