"textContent": "Hi,\n\nWanted to reflect on a variety of things, firstly the balance of the set and in turn the chicken-and-egg problem regarding the poll mentioned. I think the poll is irrelevant because it stems from the imbalance of the original set.\nExcluding coaches and wagons, but including concepts at this moment we have the following number of vehicles\n- Africa 71 (this was quite a lot fewer in the original set)\n- NorthAm 85 (added prob 10 since original set)\n- SouthAm 60 (added some since original)\n- Asia 112 (mostly unchanged)\n- Oceania 121 (this is almost all from Ragin's set, the original had a handful)\n- W-EU 148 (added about 10 I think)\n- E-EU 64 (added maybe 5)\n- S-EU 62 (I don't recall adding)\n\nThere are some overlaps in the above, however what I want to point out is that people voted \"all regions\" because especially in the original set unless you picked Asia or W-EU, there were few and far. There now has been some improvement but I'd like to have 100ish in each region. I think it's safe to say that W-EU and Oceania don't really need more adds. So, no, people should not be using more than one region, but there should be an aim to bring up the lesser regions to the level of more saturated ones. The aim of the project is to extend the offering I think. I am also of course totally okay to exclude items if they are better suited for the NG set although I would prefer not totally excluding all the NG items from this one (which also brings another topic whereby although there are a large number of items in certain regions but they aren't balanced for roles or gauges)\n\nThat's one thing. The other is that xMUs have standing counts included on purpose. Since there was no documentation on how the original set was designed, when I rechecked the counts I went through Wikipedia and spent a lot of time especially on the capacities. I am of course quite happy to correct the really non-sensible ones, like those flagged (SP1900 [although that particular vehicle has, per wiki capacity of \"C, H, M, P Cars: 452, D Cars: 430, F Cars: 72 (excluding standing capacity) / 216 (with standing capacity)\" and thus 250 is not an overkill] and the rest in the paragraph, also any others found as long as some proof of data is shown) - in a lot of cases there are comments (notes) in the excel file where relevant. E.g. for the Lint 41 it says \"DE wiki: 52 seated, 85 standing per car\"\n\nThe naming i'm quite okay with one way or another. That's also an easy change that doesn't affect the game much methinks.\n\nPeace\n\nStatistics: Posted by nemethv — 21 May 2026 20:40\n\n* * *",
