I'm only 36, and already I get invited to more funerals than weddings

I think this is the natural order of things, though. Not only are our elders now passing, unfortunately people our age may too. We lost my wife's sister two years ago, which was devastating.

At least I'm invited to more baptisms than funerals, so that's still a net positive! For some reason, despite being a very secular country, almost half of all kids are still baptised here. I think it is seen more as a family tradition than a religious one.
