"textContent": "HI,\n\nMaybe this is possible already but I have been unable to find it or get something working!\n\nI know that Infrastructure Sharing exists. In multiplayer mode an opponent builds a track that extends from the South to the North of the map. I now need to run a train from a station somehwere north to somewhere south and want to use the existing tracks. Everything I have read has said that whilst this is theoretically possible, the routing engine will never consider the opponents tracks when trying to define a route between two stations. In fact so far, I have been unable to connect my tracks to the opponents but this is a different topic (unless my expectations are already too high).\n\nMy questions are:\n1. Does this already exist and I am just too stupid to make it work?\n2. Is there a way to make a rail 'Public' or should infrastructure sharing be enough?\n3. If this does not exist, is there any interest in this or is it just me/us that requires this\n\nI guess I am looking for routing similar to that achieved through roads.\n\nStatistics: Posted by cowen — 04 Apr 2026 15:51\n\n* * *",
