As for my fibre, I was given an install date of May, then roadworks popped up outside our house on the roadworks map due to start last week. That changed to this week, though still nothing so far. But then I was contacted and offered to change my install appointment to Friday. So… maybe soon? Let’s see if a digger turns up tomorrow or Friday I guess.

Well an engineer turned up that Friday, but given nobody had installed a duct from the street, he couldn't do that much. Installed the ONT but we then had to wait for the digging to take place, which eventually happened last Wednesday. Now got another appointment next Monday morning to connect the bit of fibre sticking out of a hole in the garden to the external box that the first engineer installed. Hopefully by Monday lunchtime I'll have roughly 1Gbps down/115Mbps up to play with.
