Also Atari's pricetag is ridiculous for a 32 year old, barely working version of the game. It is an obvious cash grab in the fairway of OpenTTDs legacy, nothing else.

If you got a "barely working version of the game" you should probably contact the technical support because the game as sold in 1995 was very well working and complete. I assume you purchased the game to be able to comment on the quality of the release.
