As for the mines, yes, they can't be funded after 1930 / 1950, which is in line with what happened in reality. No new mines were opened, instead focus shifted to imports via ports. I could of course add an option to make that configurable.

The copper ore mine being that expensive compared to the coal mine makes no sense, that is definitely a bug.
