Be aware that the accounting costs are in GBP. The exchange rate in OpenTTD is 1 GBP = € 2, see https://wiki.openttd.org/en/Archive/Man ... s/Currency.
If that doesn't solve the issue, it's time to investigate what functions are impacting the cost calculation. Without any code and/or savegame it is impossible to find a bug
