General OpenTTD • Re: Japan Kanto Region 8k scenario

I've always wanted an 8k map to recreate the Tokyo metro, but to my knowledge this was never a scenario, so I went ahead and made my own.

This is my scenario of Japan's Kanto region with all cities/towns hand placed in their approximate locations, with the exception of the towns in the West of Kanto (near Kofu). Special thanks to Yozora3 for their height map titled "Greater Tokyo 8k", without which I could not have had made this scenario.

Very nice map - but why this odd orientation? Seems to be rotated 90° clockwise relative to real-world positioning ...
