Yeah.. well said grep.. I really wonder if there are really new users. This game is old, and I guess its have very loyal userbase. I wonder if there are really new players coming.. And even if, do they stay?

Changing things to modernize is not always good idea. It will annoy old userbase for sure.. And if new users cannot learn how to use because they are well.. whatever reason.. its not our problem?

I just watch the whole drama, because im not touched by it at all. I forked OpenTTD 1.8 for myself, because of few reasons. I added few patches I care, improved few things, changed a bit some behaviours and vioala.. its works super great :)
