With careful planning, you can even make slower trains yield to fast ones.\n\nHowever, if your trains depart one right after another (as typically happens when a station's cargo supply reaches several thousand units), the traffic flow begins to look more like a busy highway. In particular, it becomes very important to avoid stopping or even slowing down on the mainline, because every slowdown will propagate backwards and persist for a long time.
