The salt evaporator (and the fish farm) have somewhat limited layouts, right now they only work on a south-facing shore. Click on the highlighted tile when placing the industry. saltflat.PNG

Is there an additional restriction with climate? Because this looks like tropical and the scenario I tried was temperate (or even arctic) ...

Independent of this, the "airport symbol" for passenger transport is really weird for the salt evaporator (and I also don't really like it with the oil platform).
