"textContent": "It's Record Store Christmas! Record Store Day is almost here. We asked our friends at local record shops what they have going on for the big day. Get your lawn chair ready and peruse the RSD list for your dream picks. In addition to RSD titles, they’ll have a rollout of the _Harvest Reserve_ -- rare LPs they’ve brought into the shop over the last nine months. Follow the Harvest Instagram to get a preview of titles.Ron assures me there will be some fun surprises.\n\n### Drum Bug Music\n\n345 High St. SE\nSalem, OR\nHours: 8am-6pm\n\nDrum Bug will have three bands playing in the store starting at noon. They also have a raffle, giveaways and “treats” to give you those festive Record Store Day vibes.\n\n> View this post on Instagram \n>\n> A post shared by Vinny Galarce (@drumbugmusic)\n\n## Corvallis\n\n### PreAtomic Records\n\n211 SW 2nd Street\nCorvallis, OR\nHours: 8am-6pm\n\nPreAtomic is opening early for Record Store Day with beer pours from Block 15 and DJ Phoray spinning all day. They will have hundreds of RSD titles!\n\n## Portland\n\nSome of the 'Holy Grail' titles at Too Many Records for RSD\n\nPortland always goes big for Record Store Day, in fact Music Millennium was one of the founders all the way back in the ’naughties. The spirit of the day is the same whether a shop has official RSD titles or not: get out, browse, and support your local record store. Some shops are leaning into the full official release frenzy, while others are celebrating in their own way with special inventory, sales, and in-store energy.\n\n### Everyday Music\n\n1313 W Burnside St.\nPortland, OR\nHours: 11am-8pm\n\nEveryday Music does Record Store Day a little differently, and the best part is you do get to sleep in. They open at 11am, and customers can fill out a wish list ranked 1–10, with #1 being the most desired. The store starts at the front of the line and works through the lists in order until titles are gone.\n\nYou can rank more than 10 titles, which helps if your top picks are sold out by the time your list is reached. To keep things fair, they’re limiting each customer to one copy per RSD title on Saturday. They’ll have printed lists on hand, and they’re clear that these are limited editions, so quantities may be tighter than demand.\n\n### Too Many Records\n\n1854 N Lombard St,\nPortland, OR\nHours: 12pm-8pm\n\nIt’s no surprise Matt is celebrating RSD at Too Many Records in their own way, with a refreshed rare wall, a big spread of out-of-print and hard-to-find records, and storewide specials. They’re not focusing on official RSD titles, but they are absolutely part of the day, with $10 off grails, 10% off bins, and a stack of specially pulled records ready for digging. The budget conscious can even snag 8 of their $5 records for just $20. Check their Instagram for the gems and prepare to get in line before doors open at noon if you have some favorites.\n\n### The Record Store Pub\n\n6034 SE Milwaukee Ave.\nPortland, OR\nHours: 7am-10pm\n\nThe Record Store Pub is going big for Record Store Day, opening at 7 a.m. with complimentary breakfast snacks and coffee for folks in line before open, plus goodie bags for earlybirds while supplies last. They’re carrying more RSD titles and copies than ever — upwards of 250 titles — along with a used record drop of more than 300 curated titles and a fully refreshed feature wall.\n\nThe day also includes a Mimosa Happy Hour from 9–10 a.m., an all-day tap takeover with Fort George Brewing, Fort George reps on-site from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. with giveaways and samples, and live music from Samie Joan from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. They’ll be open until 10 p.m., making it a full-day destination for records, beer, and gear.\n\n### Music Millennium\n\n3158 E Burnside St.\nPortland, OR\nHours: 8am-10pm\n\nOne of the city’s anchors, Music Millennium is going all in with early hours, free coffee and muffins for the line starting at 6:30am, a free RSD poster and gift bag for the first 300 customers, and Deep Cuts Pale Ale for sale. It’s the classic big-stop Portland RSD experience.\n\n### Jackpot Records\n\n3574 SE Hawthorne Blvd.\nPortland, OR\nHours: 9am-6pm\n\nJackpot is participating in Record Store Day and has said any RSD releases left over after the in-store rush will be available online the following day. It’s a strong stop if you’re looking for a mix of in-store digging and a second chance at leftovers.\n\n### 2nd Avenue Records\n\n121 SW 2nd Ave.\nPortland\nHours: 8am-6pm\n\nA downtown mainstay with special Record Store Day hours and the kind of deep bench that makes it worth checking even if your first stop doesn’t pan out.
