Google Pixel 10a: (Very) quick impressions

Google sent me its latest entry-level Pixel phone, the $499 Pixel 10a, to test before launch. It arrived this past weekend, so I haven't quite had enough time with it to do a full, formal review. A lot has been said since the 10a was announced about it being virtually identical to last year's Pixel 9a. It's a fair assesment. However, for someone like me who hasn't upgraded their phone a couple of years, and you're coming from a Pixel 8a or even 7a, the differences are plentiful. I'll dive more into that in my full review. Overall initial impressions of the 10a are: * Google has once again nailed the entry-level device for Android fans. * The compltetely flat design is something I didn't realize I truly missed until now. * Battery life hasn't been a worry over the last 72 hours. * The bezels around the display are big. I don't miss bezels like these. * The speakers are just okay. I'll also add – this Berry color sure is bright and fun. I need more time to get a better feel for overall performance and camera quality. More to come...
