"textContent": "The Seattle Sounders and San Diego FC meet tonight heading in seemingly opposite directions. The Sounders come in on a seven-game unbeaten streak in league play and haven’t lost at home in 20 games across all competitions. San Diego are winless in their last eight, having claimed just three points in that time.\n\nThe Sounders are also about as healthy as they’ve been in quite some time, with Kim Kee-hee and Ryan Sailor being the latest players to return to full training. San Diego will be missing starting goalkeeper CJ Dos Santos – who suffered a concussion after only recently returning from a facial injury – as well as midfielders Jeppe Tverskov and Lewis Morgan.\n\nStill, the Sounders can’t afford to take San Diego lightly. Most of their struggles this year have been connected to red cards – they have four in league play and seven overall – and they still have one of the best offenses in the league.\n\n# Notes\n\n * Paul Rothrock is currently second in MLS in terms of shots per goal (2.8).\n * Andrew Thomas has saved 87.8% of the shots he has faced and has allowed .56 goals per game; both are the best marks in MLS.\n * This is just the third time the Sounders have played San Diego. They split their two meetings last year, including a 1–0 Sounders win at Lumen Field.\n\n\n\n## Enjoying this content?\n\nSign up to get it delivered to your inbox everyday.\n\nSubscribe\n\nEmail sent!
