No need for even that - open a new tab and go to about:profiles. From that page you can add a new profile and launch it without interrupting your existing session.

Trying to get some terminal exit verbiage. If you open 'palemoon' from the terminal and then open another new profile from within a Pale Moon tab, will you get the same exit verbiage in the terminal when the new profile crashes? I guess it stands to reason you would, but not certain.
