"textContent": "> **Off-topic:**\n>\n>\n>> Linux terminal in cPanel\n>\n> I strongly suggest using Putty or similar for any terminal work. web-based terminals are only really for last-ditch \"virtual hands\" access to remote servers if you absolutely need local terminal access. They are notoriously slow and buggy regardless of browser.\n\n**Off-topic:**\nYes, that would be better.\n\nThis is one of those instances where I'm trying to fix something that no one cares about and end up improvising, seeing Terminal option in web UI, involving AI in the process (which is a bit inconsistent in warning you about what you're about to do if you run this or that...), so it can get weird, especially if you're hasty, don't think twice and search the command online to get some more context. And considering I was prompting AI to delete orphaned file history of the hosted files that are already gone, not history of every file...\n\nTo be fair, it wasn't strictly Linux thing, it could be hosted on Windows too. I made a typo actually, well, omitted a single letter and the command still ran because apparently it accepted the fatal word in both single and plural form...reminds me of diskpart on Windows where you can do \"sel dis 0\" and such. I think I might have stopped for a moment if I saw it fail then.\n\nThat web terminal wasn't too horrible on Firefox or Chromium, but it grinded Pale Moon to a halt as soon as the other command started outputting good amount of text. Turned out it probably completed in few seconds while it would take Pale Moon much longer to catch up. It crashed before it could.\n\n* * *",
