They are:\n\n\n * MSDN (https://msdn.duke4.net/hot.php), aka Mikko Sandt's Duke Nukem, a website about Duke Nukem 3D\n * Hardcore Software (https://hardcoresoftware.learningbyship ... f-contents), powered by Substack\n * A couple of private web apps, hosted locally and based on a home grown PHP framework/ORM/CMS.\n\nMSDN uses no Javascript at all (its design hasn't changed since the late 90s!), and my web apps use Javascript only for the popup menus. Substack (and thus Hardcore Software) is the only page which uses Javascript. Load is a bit slow, but once loaded, CPU use falls to zero.\n\nAnyway, reading other posters' experiences, this seems to be caused by the sites recently closed. Oddly, Gmail and YouTube have not caused trouble for me, but I don't use them too much in Pale Moon: I have Firefox (gasp!) installed just to access Google apps.
