I got another random crash relatively early today.

Sigh, Pale Moon used to be stable.

Well, to be fair, this is a fairly big release, not just a security update. I think more went into the tree for this release than I've seen in some milestone releases. There's just been... a lot going on with the tree. This is one of those releases where you might want to roll back to the last version and wait for a point release or two, unless you want to help find the problem.
