I'm not quite sure I understand when you say you want text and maybe no icons. Would the screenshot below help you?

Sorry Night Wing et al; I didn't proof-read my post properly. Here's the question: What is the file to edit the text labels for menu bar icons? I'd like to modify the default text for each icon so that it takes the same amount of space as the matching icon. That way, I can immediately click the text label instead of using the menu.

Here's my current text line: uBlock Origin Bookmarks History Full Screen Copy Pale Moon Status Bar Here how I would compact it: uBlockO Bkmarks Past MaxScrn Copy PM_Status

You can see how my version would save >25% space by itself alone or combined with the icons.
