I assume you mean to always land on google.com when opening a new tab.

If you already use google.com as your home page, then: Preferences/Tabs/When opening a new tab, show: My home page

If you have a different home page, then:

Type "about:config" (no quotes) in the Address Bar. In the Search box, paste: browser.newtab.url Double-click on the single result you will get, paste:

and press OK.
