It sounds like it may be time to change the euphemism again, LOL.

In a pinch, I just jiggle the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in front of people until they catch on. Approved by a cross section of the world’s nations, one of whom has since been thrown out of the UN system, and representing most major cultural and religious traditions, it captures the spirit well without committing oneself too closely to any one in particular; it is meant to be universal, for all mankind. I know all major churches have explicitly endorsed the UDHR. I know less about other faiths’ institutions having done so, but it comes up a lot in discussions of religious tolerance and interfaith dialogue.
