Yeah, I'd say it's vaguely aligned with "western values" in the old-school NATO/UN sense of international cooperation more than Russian or Chinese ones…

I feel deeply uncomfortable identifying international co-operation with the West or UN (each of which have their own problems), and especially Nato (which, like any martial institution, I should reject absolutely), or casting this as exclusive of Russian or Chinese values. (Mind that Xlandic values are not the Xlandic government’s policy on a given day.) I should say goodwill towards men is a human value for everybody.
