However, if I were new to PM, I would not understand how important XUL is to security and privacy. I use uBlock Origin and eMatrix. They are able to block ads, privacy leaks and security threats to a much greater degree than other browsers the because XUL allows them to access the low-level workings of the browser. Browsers that have a foundation in ad revenue (including Mozilla paid by Google) have purposely limited what ads and surveillance that extensions can block. Simply stated: PM protects against web herpes.\n\nAnd about that... eff firefox and especially chromium based web browsers\n\nI absolutely hate having to use firefox based web browsers too also.\n\nAlthough desperation alas... makes it needed to have a backup.\n\n* * *",
