I looked today at https://www.palemoon.org/ and I find it states PM's advantages much better than before. However, if I were new to PM, I would not understand how important XUL is to security and privacy. I use uBlock Origin and eMatrix. They are able to block ads, privacy leaks and security threats to a much greater degree than other browsers the because XUL allows them to access the low-level workings of the browser. Browsers that have a foundation in ad revenue (including Mozilla paid by Google) have purposely limited what ads and surveillance that extensions can block. Simply stated: PM protects against web herpes.
