"textContent": "> But on the desktop link from Epyrus open correctly in PM, whereas on the laptop they always open PM's start page.\n> I've looked through Epyrus's settings and I can't find anything helpful.\n\nYep, and in my test environment, the links do open correctly... can you tell me if there are any differences between the setup you have on your laptop versus desktop?\nEDIT: Never mind, it looks like it's the same environment on both... so no help there.\n\nMy only guess is that maybe Epyrus and/or Pale Moon could be sensitive to very slight differences in environment as far as this \"opening links rather than the start page\" thing. I don't know for sure if it's a bug in Epyrus, a bug in Pale Moon, or just that something neither was designed for that changed in a subtle way on the systems where this doesn't work properly.\n\nI wouldn't hold my breath on this getting fixed, honestly... if I find a fix, I'll let you know, but one thing that has constantly stumped me when it comes to this program is bad interactions between Epyrus and anything else it interacts with on other people's systems. It seems like it usually works fine internally within itself, but the moment it reaches out and has to interact with another program, bad things happen. And I usually cannot reproduce the problem.\n\nThe best solution I can offer, as lame as this sounds... is just don't click on links in Epyrus to open them in Pale Moon. Open Pale Moon first, then copy the links in. Yes, that is the official workaround for this bug, sorry.\n\n* * *",
