  "textContent": "As for a more elaborate \"what to expect\" page, that's certainly doable; but my main issue with that is: who is going to put together and then curate/keep updated something like that? Our back-end development is constantly changing web compatibility, and presenting users with a list of \"this isn't going to work on Pale Moon\" that might be incorrect and outdated with the next release is really not going to be very helpful.\n\nI understand the idea about tempering expectations, but keeping an index of what doesn't work is taking it a bit far. I do have an idea about adding some upfront information from the current state of the Internet, though, so I'll put some time into updating the main page, for sure.\n\nAs for a \"new here?\" link from the installer... how did you expect that to be done? Open a webpage in whatever is the current system browser (since Pale Moon isn't installed yet)..? That feels really weird to do.\n\n* * *",
