General Discussion • Re: Pale Moon's PR Problem
This already exists
Firefox looked like that until 5 years ago, the new interface is called "Proton". Just to be clear, I too prefer the default look of Pale Moon, the UI is indeed superior (not an opinion), but some people may have gotten used to modern Firefox/Chrome and a theme could easy their migration (at least, they wouldn't be able to call Pale Moon ugly anymore).
I don't get the animosity some of you have towards OpenBSD. In any case, seeking to make peace with them would display a bit of virtue, which is appreciable regardless. But I guess that's backward thinking.
About AI, I strongly disagree with the view everyone here seems to share, but I do understand the point. Yet, probably the Pale Moon's stance on A.I. is enough to be listed there, since they don't seem to know or care that Waterfox will use Firefox vibecode sooner or later.
Besides security and single-process, another selling point of Pale Moon is being the lighter browser that supports the modern JSWeb. On the downside, this brings a bunch of undesirable grandmas with shitty laptops running ancient Operating Systems. Being Rust-free is yet another.
Take these extensions under your wing and make them sort of official
Seems like a good idea.
