Besides, exposing it in the actual browser settings mean we have to localize additional strings and update the language packs for all the languages we support. Exposing a setting in about:config means we keep it closer to the codebase than the frontend and can thus keep the main interface nice and polished for international users... whilst having the real, complex levers that are all in programmer-style English hidden off in the back.\n\n* * *",
