"textContent": "The repo README claims that it doesn't bundle additional libraries or dependencies into the AppImage, so if this is true then there won't be any violation of MPL. It does seem like the script just simply make the browser a portable installation like the one offered for Windows, not to make the browser compatible across many permutations of Linuxes (different libc, GCC runtimes, etc) as possible.\n\nIt still does run afoul of the redist license though, due to changing the archive format used for redistribution. So the repo's owner should still get permission from Moonchild for that (and as a nice bonus, maybe cooperate on finally making an official portable Linux build possible while not violating the MPL?)\n\n* * *",
