The Pale Moon FreeBSD gtk3 binary works well on GhostBSD. Try that one. The bundled Firefox browser was pretty bad actually. Maybe it was too much for VBox, don't know. Always try browsers without add-ons first. Then you can add extensions one at a time and see if things still work.
