Guess I should've posted the entire inxi report. It's a Samsung NP-R580 notebook. The only machine in my house that can [barely] live up to today's software/web standards.

if I do ./mach build j4 it takes like 2 hours on my i5-8250U.

I can't set 4 simultaneous jobs here, got only 8GB RAM and it already gets close to 7.5GB usage peak, with only 2 jobs. Interestingly, building Basilisk with the experimental Qt6 mod of UXP doesn't get anywhere close to 5GB usage peak, and that's with 3 simultaneous jobs (-j3). I can set -j4 too without problems but it's best to have a spare thread for other apps. While building PM I don't have the guts even to read new e-mails in the local app (Claws Mail).
