Can you provide console output?
I don't know if this is relevant, but, apart from a few certificate related errors/warnings, that's what appeared in the Browser Console:
CODE:
_initializeOptions: The Preferences may override manually set AppOptions; please use the "disablePreferences"-option in order to prevent that. viewer.js:1815:15Web fonts are disabled: unable to use embedded PDF fonts. viewer.js:2139:17Attempting to post a message to window with url "resource://pdf.js/web/viewer.html" and origin "resource://pdf.js^privateBrowsingId=1" from a system principal scope with mismatched origin "[System Principal]". (unknown)Security Error: Content at resource://pdf.js/web/viewer.html may not load or link to file:///home/[redacted]/build/pdf.worker.js.Warning: Setting up fake worker. pdf.js:395:13SecurityError: Failed to load worker script at "file:///home/[redacted]/build/pdf.worker.js" ca66c0eb-0812-4abd-883d-fa3cba7d7207:1PDF c49a50762fae3e599ca359bd9479a62b [1.4 GPL Ghostscript 9.05 / -] (PDF.js: 3.11.174 [ce8716743]) viewer.js:2731:13
I tried on a clean profile too, so this is not related to the disabling of Web fonts.
EDIT: Just tried the same PDF file on Basilisk v2025.10.10 (Linux x86_64, GTK3), the last version before the upgrade of PDF.js to v3.11.174, and the search function works like expected. None of the above errors related to the PDF reader occurs.
