"textContent": "> > - the only extensions are uBlock, and a noscript with sane settings that don't get in the way.\n>\n> Why both, if µBlock’s advanced mode is capable of everything which WebExtensions NoScript is? For years, I retained NoScript chiefly because of the XUL-based UI and, more importantly, the secondary features like GET filtering, but I understand none of these exist in the new versions.\n\nI did not say that correctly. It's a noscript that literally stays out of the way - there is nothing to interact with. The settings do not break sites, and by default, there is no extension icon for you to interact with or do anything with since you don't need to adjust any noscript settings to allow or disallow site elements. Mullvad browser seems to be using noscript for some of its privacy/security functions, not for its more obvious granular domain blocking/ other element blocking functions.\n\nIt's hard to describe until you try Mullvad browser in its actual default state - just let yourself experience it, and don't obsessively change things, which is what I certainly tend to do with browsers. Mullvad browser takes care of all the privacy and anti-fingerprinting stuff by default, very well - extremely well in fact. You literally just browse, and when you close the browser, poof - everything is gone. So you better make sure you bookmark anything you might need later, because it will not be in history - there is no history. It does advanced anti-fingerprinting, it does letterboxing, it does a lot of stuff to make you appear to be just a faceless person in the crowd. For nearly any site that doesn't need DRM or that isn't requiring that you submit to being fingerprinted, it just works, and you don't even think about that it's some different browser.\n\n\n> > You won't be able to run Netflix or anything that requires DRM, so if you are a movie buff this may not work for you.\n>\n> Unless you find your J-drama DRM-free elsewhere…\n\nOf course!!\n\n* * *",
