Web Compatibility Support • Re: Suggestion for a fallback browser
Mullvad browser -- this one won't tickle the fancy of most users here I don't think, but if you are looking for a highly private browser based on the Tor Browser, I've found this one to work quite well for a compliment to Pale Moon.
Out of the box there's almost nothing I need to change - the only extensions are uBlock, and a noscript with sane settings that don't get in the way. It does not remember history or cookies or anything between sessions, which is the way I run Pale Moon. You won't be able to run Netflix or anything that requires DRM, so if you are a movie buff this may not work for you.
As I said, this is going to be totally the opposite of how a lot of people like their browser, but for those who don't mind the privacy settings, this one is actually worth taking for a spin. It browses pretty darn good.
I'm still searching for something that's more of a perfect compliment to Pale Moon, and I like Firedragon in a lot of ways, but recently I've felt comfortable with Mullvad and might stick with it for awhile.
