They both can handle AVX and I think this has a lot to do with it when using Pale Moon and Pale Moon encounters a site that has a contract with CF. Just a guess on my part.

My guess would be something to do with Hardware Acceleration. Either they have GPU's that aren't capable of it, not "up-to-date" drivers for it, or they use a program/addon/setting that blocks it.

With those two laptops from circa 2012, in both of them with Pale Moon, each of them has the hardware acceleration setting turned "off".
