Thanks for confirming my understanding of language packs. I know that I had the French translator extension installed on Firefox ESR however it was not seeing it when you went to setting / translators. I did not expect that this would be a limitation of the 32 bit versions of Firefox ESR, if that was what was causing the situation I was observing.

I suppose my question could be best defined as what 32 bit web browser can I run that will support a translator.

I can use Google to translate however I am keen to avoid if I can everything Google, Apple or Microsoft.
