A simple reorganization of the Downloads page like that would probably flip a lot of users over to the GTK3 version.\n\nI would just put GTK3 first and just say \"GTK3 (Recommended)\" and then \"GTK2\" second. Saying \"it may ultimately need to be deprecated\" will probably make a lot of existing users who specifically want GTK 2 support think we are saying we will eventually drop support completely when that isn't the intention.\n\n* * *",
