34.1.0 (release build) is functional for me. Build ID 20260301224458 34.2.0 suffers.

I think it's commit abc435f18ecdae247fd71a428d426846712d0d27 that would be the problem here, which came after 34.1.0. I think this because it replaces int'l spaces with standard spaces which might be breaking glyph joins.
