Just turned 76.\n\nWell, then I'm a child to you - three months from turning 60.\n\n> Then if the second solution worked and then doesn't, this is where I take the easy way out if there is one.\n\nSometimes I take the ~~easy~~ painful way out right off the bat. For example a year or two ago when GitHub _announced_ they would implement 2FA - I immediately deleted my account there. At some point I'll most likely delete the GitLab account too, as they implemented 2FA without even announcing it, and their cookies expire quickly - I just don't visit them lately. Codeberg keeps me logged in indefinitely, no need to jump through hoops, provide private data such as phone number, or whatever.\nBut when something tickles my curiosity - or worse, my ambition - then I'm a dog with a bone.\n\nAs for the CloudFlare cancer... Well, so far they didn't manage to piss me off simply because I don't happen to visit sites ~~protected~~ infected by them, daily, or at least the cookies still work. But when they do manage to destroy the little corner of Internet I got left then I'll just put those domains in the hosts.deny list and to hell with them all. No extensions, no fiddling around, no such waste of time and nerves. I'm like that.\n\n* * *",
