"textContent": "> As for the CloudFlare cancer... Well, so far they didn't manage to piss me off simply because I don't happen to visit sites ~~protected~~ infected by them, daily, or at least the cookies still work. But when they do manage to destroy the little corner of Internet I got left then I'll just put those domains in the hosts.deny list and to hell with them all. No extensions, no fiddling around, no such waste of time and nerves. I'm like that. [/offtopic]\n\n**Off-topic:**\nI too use the Hosts file in both MX Linux and Debian by way of the Terminal. I dislike using the Terminal, but I do know how to use it if I have to.\n\nI have no social media accounts since I have absolutely no use for them. But I know these companies put tracking cookies targeting my browsers and since I never visited those sites, I do not like the practice where some websites put these tracking cookies for these companies in my browser lists of cookies.\n\nTo make a long post short; I have every address I have found for Facebook, Meta, MSN, Bing, Twitter, X, TikTok in both distros Hosts file using the Terminal. This way, no browser on any of my five computers can get to any of the social media sites I just listed.\n\nIn closing. I hope you get to solve your problem, if you haven't already, with your linux Pale Moon. And I might add, I've also enjoyed the \"generalized chit-chat\" between you and me today.\n\n* * *",
