"textContent": ">\n>\n>\n>> I noticed Linux Mint 19.2 is not supported anymore since it reached end of life in April of 2023.\n>\n> Haven't really had much support from the team, if at all, for the last seven years since I first installed it. I can support it myself if/when necessary, within certain limits of course. There are reasons for me sticking with this particular version, but it's not the place to debate that here.\n>\n>> I had no problem loading the sites you cannot get to [...]\n>\n> That's probably because your browser is already set to use TLS 1.3 by default, and you didn't mess with the settings (do you even have Pale Moon Commander installed to see those options?) I did change various options in the past but as usually I forgot everything, so can't be sure if setting protocols to SSL 3.0 was my [wrong]doing or not.\n\nI understand you have reasons for staying with 19.2, but eventually those reasons run head on with Reality where things just start having problems simply because they are no longer supported.\n\nAs for Pale Moon Commander, you are correct since I do not have this extension installed because I have found through trail and error, extension wise, if I go start changing things in some extensions or settings, those things work........until they don't. Then I have to find out why they don't work and it came down to me changing something I should have not changed and eventually it \"bit me\". And quite a few times I have to stop using said extension or settings.......and/or I have to use a newer version of a distro to get said extension to work again. Just saying.\n\nAs an example, not extension wise, there are quite a few people on this site where they do not like using the setting Firefox Compatibility. They use Native. And Native worked until it didn't. Then they find out they have to use the default setting which is Firefox Compatibility, which they still do not like, to get things to work for them again.\n\nOne last thing when it comes to reasons for going against the \"norm\".\n\nStarting with Mint in January of 2014, when linux Pale Moon was publicly released up until I quit using Mint 22 and now presently using MX Linux 25.1 and Debian 13.4, I have \"never\" installed my linux Pale Moon in any of these three distros based on my reason for not liking the Terminal. My way has been working for me for the last 12 years. I will keep doing it this way for MX and Debian with Xfce, until my \"reason\" no longer works when it encounters Reality. Then I will have to change and most likely use the Terminal to install linux Pale Moon.\n\n* * *",
