Just noticed it spams these continuously under Network tab when it happens, hence the seeming infinite loading.

Refresh one time, OK, refresh the other time, this error. I've yet to see if it only happens when getting this image from the server or if it also happens for certain other files.

Considering it's 403 errors (unauthorized) it may be an issue on their end with permissions. I'd report the 403 error stream to them.
