"textContent": "> Surprisingly, I got past https://alternativeto.net/ 's CF verification easily, but any other I've encountered (only a handful as I've come to avoid CF sites for the most part) still gets stuck. I'm wondering why. Have they implemented a PM pass, since we've had a good rapport with them, or did CF institute some more hardcore ..Firewall thingie.. settings that everyone else is just using as default?\n>\n> Can everyone else also get past AlternativTo's CF?\n>\n>\n> **Off-topic:**\n> \"Fun\" fact, the reason I visited AlternativeTo is because I've started encountering more and more JPG/JPEG images that just won't open in IrfanView. \"Can't read file header\", and it's stumped me a long time, but it turns out that it's due to some \"progressive scan\" thingie? So I was looking for some akin to IrfanView, with a forum, that can handle this new-fangled thing.\n\n**Off-topic:**\nI wonder if there are samples for such JPEG files?\n\n* * *",
