Blocking Cloudflare was only necessary when Cloudflare check blocked Pale Moon.
Thanks for the detailed info. You are right, I forgot at some point Cloudflare downright froze/broke Pale Moon. The current (and most frequent) situation is nowhere near that bad, but can still benefit from having CF blocked because those looping, failing Turnstile tests do stall and delay the browser.
In any case, BCWFC/BCWBBC can still be used for this (no one is going to miss the cloudflare.com home page) and other extensions too, if further customisation is needed.
