Be careful with yt-dlp if you are in the USA, as they are cracking down hard on it and you may be in serious trouble with section 1201 of the DMCA attaching jail time to it.
Have you seen any articles about this recently? Been meaning to ask about this.
I did a search and found only that google is cracking down on it not the FBI or anyone else.
