General Discussion • Re: YouTube Now Forcing Visitors To Sign In To View Videos
Just visited YouTube on my MX Linux distro where Pale Moon would not play any videos earlier today because YT thought I was a bot and wanted me to "sign in" to prove I was not a bot. But I did not get the "sign it" prompt. The video began playing.
So I tried a couple more videos and Pale Moon played them all. Then I used Waterfox and the same thing happened. The videos began playing. I thought to myself I was on a roll. Maybe the "third time was the charm" and I used Firefox. And the videos began playing.
The odd thing about all of this. I "never" changed any of the settings I made in Pale Moon, Waterfox or Firefox. My only guess is, there must have been a glitch at YT which caused havoc for me earlier this morning. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope this does not happen again.
